This regional NSW oral health centre includes 8 dental health surgeries and all of the support facilities required of a centre of this size. As well as dental surgeries, it offers a bespoke sterilising and packaging lab that prepares oral health material for the clinic and also for outlying community dental health facilities. The building is sited adjacent to the Nowra Community Centre. The major design issue for this site was to incorporate natural light into every part of the building, including the internal spaces where office spaces, meeting rooms, and staff facilities are located.
Roof lights were used extensively to draw light down all the way into the building’s core.
The centre incorporates many accessible features, including basement parking with elevator access to all three levels of the completed facility.
The Centre was opened in 2017.
